Welcome to our Sage Savories and Sage Food Services web site

Sage (Seniors Association of Greater Edmonton) is a full service, seniors serving agency, which offers a number of services and programs to seniors and their families as well as those physically challenged or isolated. The Sage Savories program is the tastiest one. Sage Savories were designed to offer seniors a tasty home style meal option with consideration to lower sodium and lower fat content. Although most meals are, not all meals are low in fat and sodium. They are however, much lower than a traditional prepared meal. You will see that many of our soups and meals have been included in the Heart and Stroke Foundation Health Check™ program (see bottom of page for explanatory message), giving you the assurance of a healthy meal option. Please consult your physician or dietitian if you have any health concerns or questions. Be sure to show them our nutritional information.

The Sage Savories line includes 5 different soups, 18 meals and 6 desserts, all in convenient, single serve, frozen portions. There are no contracts to sign, just order what you want, when you want. All items are prepared and frozen so we can not accept any special requests. We offer delivery on orders over $45.00 (food purchases) in the city of Edmonton.

Delivery fees are $5.00 + GST for Sage members or $10.00 + GST for non-Sage members. Please click on "About Us" at the top of this page for membership information. ***Online Ordering Delivery Special*** - All orders placed for delivery using our online ordering service pay the Sage member delivery fee of $5.00 plus GST! Sage Savories can also be ordered for pick up at the Sunshine Cafe at Sage, with no minimum order required. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM and closed all holidays. We are located at the Sunshine Cafe at Sage, 15 Sir Winston Churchill Square which is on the N.W. corner of 100 Street and 102A Avenue.

For all of us at Sage, providing delicious, wholesome meals has always been our top priority. Now we've gone one step further - we are pleased to offer new Health Check™ Menu Options. We've worked with the Heart and Stroke Foundation to ensure that many of our meals meet the nutrient guidelines of the Health Check ™ program, which are based on recommendations in Canada's Food Guide. Great taste, and now healthier than ever.

All Health Check ™ entrees and soups in our menu are identified with the Health Check™ logo. The Heart and Stroke Foundation's registered dietitians have reviewed the Sage Savories Health Check™ menu options to ensure they meet the specific nutrient criteria developed by the Health Check ™ program based on the recommendations in Canada's Food Guide.
